Mooresville Farmers Market Mooresville, Indiana
At the corner of Indiana & Main Streets ~ Downtown Mooresville

The market has moved!

The building where we have been having the market has sold and the new owners are moving in.  So the market has moved to the park on the corner of Indiana and Main Streets on Wednesdays from 4:30 to 7 p.m.  This website will be taken down in a few weeks, but will return for next season.    Thank you for your support of our market.

Go to the FAQ page and check out our
photo album from last year's market!

People interested in becoming vendors at the market this year should contact Clara Sangster, Market Master. We had customers looking for vendors with eggs, mushrooms, garlic, herbs and many of the other goodies you find at the Bloomington Farmers Market.

If you plan to sell processed foods remember that they must be prepared in an Indiana Board of Health approved facility and labeled properly. People giving out samples of prepared foods need to have a Food Handlers Certificate, too.

To sell eggs in limited quantities you need an inexpensive certificate from the Indiana State Egg Board. Go to www.ansc.purdue.edu/ISEB/ for information.

Eat Locally!
Are you a locavore?  The "locavore" movement encourages consumers to buy food in season from farmers and food producers within 100 miles of their home. The idea is to reduce the amount of fuel used in transporting our food, to encourage the local economy, and to get food that is typically more nutritious and flavorful.  Google the word locavore on the internet and learn more about it.
